BE SAGE AmeriCorps

Public Health AmeriCorps is a federal program presented through a partnership between the Arizona Governor¿s Office and the Edson College at ASU to develop new generation of public health leaders to respond to pressing public health needs. AmeriCorps Members will engage with outdoor garden building, garden nutrition education and physical activity curriculum implementation, COVID-19 testing and outreach, as well as other public health activities in low-income, underserved populations attending Early Child Education sites that participate in the Child and Adult Care Food Program in Maricopa County, Arizona. Members will receive formal and informal public health training offered through this course and field work.
