Community Technology Empowerment Project

The Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) is an AmeriCorps program working to bridge the "digital divide" for low-income communities across the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. Since 2004, CTEP has mobilized over 500 AmeriCorps members to teach basic digital literacy skills to nearly 55,000 low-income adults and youth, empowering them to navigate technology confidently, allowing them to access information, communicate effectively, manage their digital presence, and make informed decisions in today's tech-driven world. CTEP AmeriCorps anticipates placing 20 members with 18 nonprofit organizations and libraries in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
