PSP VISTA: Common Ground Outdoor Adventures

This full-time, one-year AmeriCorps VISTA position is hosted by the Public & School Partnership and is based at Common Ground Outdoor Adventures in Logan, UT. Common Ground aims to alleviate poverty for individuals with disabilities by ensuring they are aware of opportunities and have access to outdoor recreation/education. Outdoor recreation and physical fitness provide people with disabilities with increased self-esteem, physical fitness, and increased health, and wellness that often lead to access to education as well as vocational and career paths, thereby elevating them out of poverty.
