The AmeriCorps VISTA Hub at PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact is recruiting a new AmeriCorps VISTA Leader to support the largest AmeriCorps VISTA sponsorship in the Western Region. Our program supports 60+ members serving in communities across California who are working to tackle overdose prevention and the impacts of COVID. As an AmeriCorps VISTA Leader, your assignment will be at the hub of operations for the Center for Health Leadership & Impact at the Public Health Institute. Key projects include recruiting new AmeriCorps VISTA members, supporting current AmeriCorps VISTA members, producing professional development programming, supporting data collection and reporting projects, writing monthly newsletters, updating the CHLI website and more!

The selected VISTA Leader will develop skills in operations, nonprofit administration, data, communications, website management, program evaluation, outreach, communication and recruitment. The selected candidate will be a part a statewide member learning community through PHI Center for Health Leadership & Impact. The member will have access to professional development opportunities including workshops, networking events, conferences and other trainings. Members will be part of a network of over 200 CHLI AmeriCorps alums.
