Program Overview: The Empowering Pathways AmeriCorps VISTA project places members at the forefront of innovation in education and workforce development. Located in the heart of Southern Illinois in the town of Eldorado, this initiative supports TeachTeam, a Microsoft- and Google-sponsored nonprofit committed to ending the cycle of poverty by providing vocational rehabilitation, job placement, and permanent housing to formerly homeless individuals and individuals with disabilities.

As a VISTA member, you will play a pivotal role in helping TeachTeam refine and expand its groundbreaking educational AI
