EngageCorps Community Relations VISTA at Plentiful

Plentiful is a non-profit committed to accelerating a connected food access ecosystem that prioritizes the needs of the individual. We develop inclusive software applications that make it easier for providers and partners to effectively serve those facing food insecurity, and to streamline access for those facing food insecurity. This approach ensures a more dignified experience for everyone involved, leading to more human-centered outcomes. Plentiful was launched in December 2016 as a pilot at three NYC pantries. Since then, over 500 pantries and 1M unique households have benefited from Plentiful.

Plentiful is actively growing its impact via expansion to new markets and the development of additional product features and services, and is currently available in Metro Denver, New York, and New Jersey. This past year alone, we supported more than 1.8 million unique individuals and their families seeking charitable food.

Plentiful is looking to hire a full-time Community Relations VISTA Member. The Community Relations VISTA Member will play an important marketing and content creation role within the Community Relations Plentiful team and report directly to the Community Relations Manager. The Community Relations team works closely with Plentiful users (providers and neighbors) to provide high-level support, to serve as customer proxies when considering enhancements to our app, and to raise awareness of our tools and brand nationally.
