About this Opportunity

The AmeriCorps VISTA member will be part of the All Chicago¿s System Change team and focus on supporting the Continuum of Care (CoC) Implementation Structure (IS), which enacts the strategic vision of the CoC. The CoC is a membership organization that is composed of over 100 organization and individuals who work to prevent and end homelessness in Chicago. This AmeriCorps VISTA member will form part of a cohort of VISTAs at All Chicago that will work together, but will also be assigned to different areas of work within All Chicago. All Chicago supports AmeriCorps VISTAs through a robust onboarding program, weekly supervision from a task supervisor, monthly meetings with all VISTAs on important topics, and professional development opportunities. This position will focus on collaborating with members of the CoC. The AmeriCorps VISTA member will assist in strengthening communication with diverse groups and highlighting opportunities for cross system collaboration. The member will support the Project Manager of the CoC IS in developing communication workflows, preparing community wide convenings, and supporting in developing public facing reports from various initiatives occurring withing the CoC. The member work on strengthening our community collective impact approach by creating a framework of trainings, toolkits, and leading discussions on implementation. The CoC IS fosters collaboration and communication while allowing the community to engage in targeted decision-making. It spurs action, innovation and implementation. It supports regular review of data to track progress toward preventing and ending homelessness and responding to our community¿s immediate needs.
