The Skatepark Project Creative Partnerships VISTA

The Skatepark Project is a national nonprofit dedicated to helping underserved communities create safe, inclusive public skateparks and expand access to youth development through skateboarding. Through the Harold Hunter Programs, we provide free, community-based programming that supports mentorship, mental wellness, and career pathways for youth.

Skateparks serve as critical ¿third spaces,¿ offering safe environments where young people can build confidence, develop skills, and connect with supportive peers and mentors. By removing barriers to access and creating consistent programming, our work contributes to improved physical health, social connection, and long-term opportunity for youth in historically under-resourced communities.

As the Creative Partnerships Coordinator VISTA, you will build the systems that make this work scalable. You will strengthen partnerships with brands, develop outreach and engagement tools, and create processes that support collaboration across teams. This role focuses on capacity building ¿ ensuring that partnership development, fundraising, and communications efforts are structured, consistent, and sustainable.

Through this experience, you will gain hands-on skills in partnership development, systems building, fundraising strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, while contributing to a mission-driven organization working at the intersection of youth development, public space, and culture.
