Chittenden Solid Waste District (CSWD)¿s mission is to reduce and manage the solid waste generated within Chittenden County in an environmentally sound, efficient, effective and economical manner. CSWD serves all residents, businesses, non-profits, and guests within Chittenden County, regardless of socioeconomic status, place of residency, or age. We offer a low cost option to all community members to safely dispose of solid and hazardous waste, creating a method for all individuals in Chittenden County to live safer, healthier, and happier lives in a community that prioritizes public and environmental health.
