PHENND Fellows: Community Farm Engagement VISTA

Martha's Community Farm is part of Martha¿s Choice Marketplace and Community Farm, the most visited food pantry in Montgomery County, PA. The mission of Martha¿s is to ¿build community through access to healthy food.¿ The Audubon, PA., farm practices regenerative agriculture and all produce grown is donated fresh for distribution to the Choice Marketplace Food Pantry in Norristown, PA. To support growing food for families in need, Martha's Community Farm acts as a community involvement hub for food system sustainability and environmental stewardship.

This project is a part of the PHENND Fellows VISTA program housed at the Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development (PHENND). PHENND is a network of over 25 colleges and universities that strengthens service-learning, civic engagement, and community partnerships in Philadelphia.
