Nutrition Educator

As an AmeriCorps member in the Youth Nutrition Education role, you will assist with planning, implementing, and facilitating various youth outdoor camps and programs, emphasizing nutrition and incorporating healthy food options into camp lunches. Your role will help ensure that the students in our programs learn about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) in outdoor settings and develop a positive relationship with nutritious foods that promote healthy lifestyles.

This role will include working directly with campers, assisting with camp logistics, supporting field trips, and collaborating with local partners to integrate the Healthy Parks, Healthy People grant¿s vision of healthier communities through outdoor engagement and more nutritious meals.
