25-26 City of Vancouver Environmental Education Specialist

This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Vancouver combines the excitement of a major metropolitan area with small-town charm. We are a fast-growing and increasingly diverse community in southwest Washington. The Water Resources Education Center serves as our environmental education center. It provides opportunities for the community to learn about our relationship with and impacts on water and nature. The member will coordinate education programs and events through the center. They will promote stewardship of water resources and give participants the chance to put new learning into practice. They may also support exhibit research and development. We will conduct rolling review of applications and interviews until position is filled. Monthly stipend amount: $3,157.
