About this Opportunity

Managed by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, the Maryland Conservation Corps (MCC) provides opportunities for personal and professional growth through conservation and service. MCC crews are placed in State Parks throughout Maryland, serving each region and covering a wide variety of environmental service. The needs of a respective area determines the type and scope of projects crews perform.

In addition, MCC provides its members exceptional, exciting training and certifications in areas such as: Basic First Aid and CPR, Wildland Firefighting, Chainsaw Safety, and Environmental Education & Interpretation. Benefits include: access to low-cost housing, health insurance, childcare assistance, bi-weekly living allowance of $1200 before taxes, and extensive professional development experience. The recruitment period runs until all positions are filled.
