Established in 1959, Uplift, Inc. has been providing community services for almost 65 years. Uplift was established by local families seeking educational options for their children at a time when children with IDD were not allowed in public schools. Uplift now provides a variety of services including residential, employment, case management to low-income individual experiencing intellectual disabilities/ delays (IDD). Uplift strives to continue to provide quality support services and develop new innovative services like Community Membership to meet the needs of individuals served.

Our mission is to create conditions under which individuals with IDD experience; presence and participation in the community, respect and dignity, personal choice, opportunities to develop competence and to create and maintain personal relationships.
