About this Opportunity
This is an AmeriCorps/Washington Service Corps national service position. It is contingent on funding and open until filled. Common Threads is a non-profit based in Bellingham, WA and was founded in 2006. We hold ourselves accountable for doing our part to understand and dismantle the many forms of oppression. We connect kids to healthy food in the garden, in the kitchen, and at the table. We want them to grow up making food choices that are good for their bodies, their communities, and the environment. We do this through seed-to-table education during the school day and enrichment programs after school and during breaks. We also run a mobile food truck that serves free meals after school and during summer. The member will support our enrichment programming and operate our food truck. We expect to begin rolling review of applications and interviews in late May. Monthly stipend amount: $2,438.
