AmeriCorps NCCC

About

Are you interested in traveling the country and earning money for school while helping communities in need? If so, AmeriCorps NCCC may be for you.

AmeriCorps NCCC (National Civilian Community Corps) is a team-based national service program for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24. For 10 months, teams travel across the country to serve on projects related to disaster relief, education, housing, taxes, state parks, community gardens, food insecurity, and more.

If selected, AmeriCorps will coordinate and pay for your travel from your current home to our training facility. After a 3-week training period, you will depart with your team to complete a variety of 6 to 8-week-long projects that may be located anywhere in the United States.

AmeriCorps NCCC members are provided with housing, food, health benefits, transportation to projects and qualified student loan forbearance. Members earn a modest living stipend of about $215 every two weeks, before taxes. Upon successful completion of the program, AmeriCorps NCCC graduates earn a $7,300 education award that can be applied to future schooling or to pay off existing student loans.

If you are interested in community service, team-oriented, and available to travel, consider serving with AmeriCorps NCCC!
