About this Opportunity
AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time, limited-term volunteer service program for young adults. During a 10-month term as a FEMA Corps Member, you can expect to
- Serve on a team with 8-12 other young adults
- Travel the country, all expenses paid
- Complete 3-6 different service projects with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). FEMA Corps service projects focus on disaster mitigation, planning, preparedness, and response. Examples include connecting disaster survivors with benefits, managing warehouses of supplies, evaluating emergency shelters, and more.
- Earn the Segal Education Award, which can be used to pay for educational expenses and qualified student loans

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be between ages 18-24
- Must be willing to travel throughout the United States and U.S. territories
- Must be able to earn a Public Trust Clearance
- Time Commitment: 40 hours per week from February - November 2026
- This is an entry level role - no degree or prior work experience required to apply.
