Take a step back in time as you step on board our vintage passenger cars for a relaxing journey to the past. Our seasonal schedule offers options throughout the year. Enjoy the 66 mile round trip on our popular Hill Country Flyer, which includes a 2 and a half hour layover in Burnet for lunch and the ever-entertaining Burnet Gunfighters Association wild west shootout! Or hop on board the Bertram Flyer forour shorter 3 hour adventure. Remember to check our Special Rides for not-to-be-missed theme adventures such as our always popular Murder Mystery and Wine Tasting rides. And for our youngest fans, the North Pole Flyer pulls into town in late November. We run primarily on the weekend, with a few weekday rides available in March and July.

The mission of the Austin Steam Train Association is to preserve, interpret and re-create the first-hand experience of historic steam railroading for the enjoyment and edification of todays families and the generations to come.
