All Aboard!

The Austin Steam Train Association is looking for volunteers to meet and greet passengers on our train excursions Saturdays and Sundays into the Hill Country.

We welcome volunteers from every background to spend one Saturday or Sunday a month (or more) visiting with our out of town guests on the train.

Training is easy, the work is vital, and the experience is energizing!

As a volunteerin On Board Services, you'll help passengers find their seats, serve refreshments, and interact with our guests. For the leisurely ride you'll have many opportunities to point out historic landmarks along the line and talk about the history of central Texas railroads. Because our little railroad is world famous, our volunteers are constantly meeting interesting travelers from around the globe!

Volunteers are asked to serve one or more shifts per month on a Saturday or Sunday. Shifts are 5 - 8 hours in length.
