TheDomestic Truth Foundation (DTF)is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Houston, Texas, dedicated to empowering survivors of domestic violence to rebuild their lives with safety, dignity, and purpose. We believe that healing begins with truth and that every survivor deserves access to the resources, education, and community support needed to thrive beyond trauma. Our foundation provides a wide range offree programs and services, includingcrisis intervention, case management, emergency relocation and safety planning, empowerment coaching, art healing workshops, online courses, job readiness support, and self-defense training. Through ourArt Healing Program, survivors of all ages find creative ways to process pain and rediscover their strength through meaningful artistic expression and reflection. OurCase Management Programconnects individuals and families with vital resources such as housing, counseling, and legal aid. DTF is more than a nonprofit its a movement for change. We are committed tojustice system reform, advocating for stronger laws, survivor-centered policies, and a national offender registry to prevent future abuse. Our ultimate vision includes building acommunity center, safe housing, and wellness spaceswhere survivors can find long-term stability and empowerment. At the heart of everything we do is compassion, advocacy, and the unwavering belief thattogether, we can break the cycle of violence and build a safer future for all.

To ensure safety and preparedness, ourSelf-Defense Classesequip participants with practical techniques and self-confidence, while ourEmergency Relocation and Safety Planningservices provide immediate, confidential support for those escaping dangerous environments. Beyond direct services, DTF is committed toadvocacy and reform pushing for stronger protections for survivors, a national offender registry, and a justice system that truly prioritizes safety and accountability. Every program we offer is rooted in the belief thathealing is possible, freedom is attainable, and survivors deserve not just to survive, but to thrive.
