Embrace Abilities

About

Embrace Abilities is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, founded by Bridgett Lee in 2024. Inspired by lived experience, we’re dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where children, young adults, and families with different abilities feel valued and supported.

We offer whole-family support through free, community-driven programs that foster confidence, independence, and meaningful connections. Our active programs include:

  • Structured Monthly Indoor Events: Inclusive gatherings for socialization, play, and connection.
  • Parent-Led Park Meetups: Outdoor activities encouraging engagement and community.
  • Birthday Buddies Club: Monthly celebrations to honor each participant’s special day.
  • Coffee with Caregivers: Quarterly sessions for parents and caregivers to connect and share support.
  • Sibshops: Activities for siblings to build friendships and share experiences.
  • Sensory Toolkits & Lending Library: Access to sensory supports for use at events.

Our values are inclusion, equal access, health, and community-driven support. We welcome children, young adults, siblings, caregivers, and professionals to help build a stronger, more inclusive Gulf Coast community. All programs are free, and donations are tax-deductible.
