Friends of Shelby Park and Bottoms

We have an ongoing need for volunteers for park cleanups, and pop up events in the park, as well as our larger scale fundraising events like Music City Hot Chicken Festival every Fourth of July and the Summer/Fall family friendly concert series the Cornelia Fort Pickin' Parties.

Founded in 2008, Friends of Shelby is a private, non-profit organization based in East Nashville. Our mission is to help preserve, enhance, and promote Shelby Park and Bottoms for everyone to appreciate and protect. We do this through helping maintain its features, promoting programs, supporting recreational activities, engaging user groups and undertaking revitalization efforts within the park.
