Therapeutic horsemanship is a non-traditional type of therapy in which the horse is the tool used in the clients treatment and is supervised by certified PATH Intl. Therapeutic Riding Instructor. Research has shown the benefits of therapeutic horsemanship for clients. The physical benefits of riding are increased circulation, cardiovascular and respiration functions. In addition, clients are rewarded with social aspects of riding, including the bonding with the horse, forming relationships with the instructor and volunteers, increased self-esteem.

We provide weekly lesson for anyone in need of hope and healing.

Grace Lake Ministries, Inc. is a God-centered therapeutic horsemanship program located in the Melissa/Anna/Blue Ridgearea. We provide therapeutic horsemanship to individuals with physical, social, emotional and developmental problems.
