About
As the capstone museum of the Army Museum Enterprise, the National Army Museum will provide the only comprehensive portrayal of Army history and traditions. The Museum also will offer educational experiences to illustrate the Armys role in building and defending our nation, as well as humanitarian missions, public contributions, and technological and medical breakthroughs.
Mission Statement
The Museum is looking for individuals who are passionate about the U.S. Army and sharing the stories of the men and women who have worn the Army uniform throughout our nations history. There will be a variety of volunteer opportunities, such as visitor services, special events, tours, education, gardening, and administration. We are building a diverse group of volunteers with varied backgrounds and experiences. Specific educational degrees or work experience are not required. All are encouraged to apply to volunteer! Through the application process, youll have the opportunity to share your skills, interests, and abilities; and together, we will match you to a suitable volunteer position. Volunteer opportunities are available to all those who meet the qualifications without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, or national origin. There will be required training for all volunteers and some volunteer positions may require additional, specialized training. Initially, we will accept volunteer applications from those who are 18 years of age or older.
