About

Northshore Senior Center's mission is to promote healthy aging & well-being in our community through programs, services, resources & civic engagement. We envision a community where everyone leads full, healthy & inspired lives.

Founded in 1972, the Senior Center has grown from a small band of 50 older adults to a lively community of over 3,500 individuals. Over 500 dedicated volunteers in self-directed teams, with the support of staff, have designed and monitored every aspect of programming, bringing ever changing and vital programs and services to those over 55, and to adults of all ages with disabilities. The Senior Center has become a national model with an impressive string of awards and program replication sites, offering hundreds of services and programs each year.

Northshore Senior Center serves older adults of Northshore and beyond with locations in Bothell, Kenmore and Mill Creek, and with additional programing in Woodinville and Kirkland. A full range of activities and classes are presented to help meet the social, educational, health and recreational needs of older adults and developmentally disabled adults in the Northshore community.
