Volunteer Drivers

At Northshore Senior Center we envision a community where everyone leads full, healthy, and inspired lives. Senior power has been our banner and it has built our center into one of the largest and most active in the country.

We have a volunteer opportunity for you to use your car to help seniors with limited mobility access to food and medical resources in our local community. All volunteer drivers will be reimbursed for mileage.

Perks: Mileage reimbursement and possible friendships

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid drivers license and good driving record.
• Vehicle liability insurance policy that meets Northshore Senior Center standards.
• Must maintain the vehicle in good working condition, must have and use seatbelts.
• Access to a cell phone.
• Must follow volunteer Statement of Understanding.
• Must complete a volunteer application, sign a volunteer agreement, and authorize a background check. You may be subject to additional screenings or qualifications prior to starting.
