Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge

Established in 2000, Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge is a faith-based, locally owned and operated not-for-profit retirement community offering a full continuum of care for Madison-area older adults. We are located just off American Parkway near American Family Insurance between Madison and Sun Prairie. Oakwood Village Prairie Ridge offers apartment homes, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Regardless of the level of care a resident lives in, we take great pride in supporting the overall wellness of those we serve. Our campus features unique amenities such as a chapel, outdoor walking paths and gardens, a fitness room and a shop. We take great pride in providing staff and services to enhance the lives of those we serve, including a chaplain, horticulturist, and music therapy. Volunteers enrich the lives of our residents and provide valuable support to our staff in a number of ways, including the operation of our shop, personal or pet visits, on-and-off campus transportation assistance, help with special events, and a variety of other opportunities. Oakwood Lutheran Senior Ministries also owns and operates Oakwood Village University Woods, established in 1948 and located on Mineral Point Road on Madisons near west side.
