Friendly Visitor

Share an hour or two of your time weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, talking, listening to life stories and enjoying the company of an elderly adult. You will be paired with someone based on your personalities and shared interests. This would be a great experience for someone pursuing a job in the health care field, or a new retiree looking for meaningful opportunities.

Volunteers must complete Oakwoods registration process, including a background check.

Weekdays - times vary depending on resident and volunteer availability.

Qualifications: Good listening and social skills, willingness to learn and ability to maintain confidentiality
