Pleasant View exists to empower people with disabilities to explore, embrace, and find the passions and the joy of living. We foster opportunities, community, and relationships, helping each person grow as individuals and as a fully integrated community members. We are located in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia.

Our Mission: Pleasant View supports individualswho have disabilities in living out their goals for meaningful work, relationships, and spiritual development.

Pleasant View, Inc.helps individuals with intellectual and other disabilities to live in and enrich their communities.

• We provide residential support in a variety of settings such as apartments, 5 or more person neighborhood homes, and an ICF-IID home. These residences are located throughout Harrisonburg and Rockingham County, Virginia.
• We provide day support services in the Harrisonburg day program, Supported Employment services, and In-Home Services. Each day support service helps individual we serve to reach their goals to engage in the community at a level they are most comfortable.
• Spiritual supports are provided by Pastor Derek Yoder. PastorYoder supports each individual in connecting with the church of his or herchoice. He helps employees and the individuals we serve with their spiritual needs. He also manages virtual and in-person Faith & Light (Inclusive worship services twice monthly) and our Pleasant View Worship Team (volunteer vocal and bell choir) .
• Pleasant View also has a small group of individuals who like to volunteer in their communities in their free time. Our volunteers choose to focus on helping children, but also support other volunteer opportunities in the community.

The variety of residential options offered by Pleasant View, Inc., provide choices so that the individuals we serve can design their supports to best meet their needs and goals. We provide group day services in the Harrisonburg Day Program and Supported Employment helping individuals with disabilities work in local businesses. Pleasant View helps individuals with intellectual disabilities access and truly be a part of their home community.
