Play & Lead a Music Activity for a Small Group

Pleasant View supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of the individuals we support enjoy music of all kinds. Many who participate in our day program like listening to live music and participating in group music activities. We have a piano, electric keyboard, bells for adaptive bell choir, karaoke music, microphone, speakers, sound system, and assorted small instruments you can incorporate into your music time.

In the past, we have had several musicians who enjoyed visiting weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to lead music in our day program. The music activity can also just be a single opportunity. You can come as an individual or a small group. With a small group of volunteers, some volunteers can help people who need help to participate in the activity.

Volunteers will receive training before their first day of service. You will need to return the attached or online (https://pleasantviewinc.org/careers-and-volunteers/) application along with a negative TB test you secure from a physician.
