About
We are a welcoming and inclusive community workspace that provides tools, knowledge, and a collaborative culture to inspire the artist and maker in everyone. Founded in 2012, we seek to provide a unique opportunity for makers and aspiring makers to get access to equipment they otherwise might not have access to, and provide training and education on safe use of equipment and exploring creative ways to make things. We are largely volunteer-run and operate out of an 8000sqft building in the west end of Portsmouth.
Mission Statement
We offer membership to access workspaces dedicated to woodworking, metalworking, sewing and crafting, electronics and prototyping, automotive and bicycle repair, computer aided machining, and more. We also offer classes on use of tools and building projects, and rent project storage space to help facilitate larger projects.
