Urban Harvest STL

Urban Harvest STL builds community around inclusive and resilient local food systems.

We grow healthy food for people who need it the most in our community across our network of urban farms. Research shows that eating nutritious food positively impacts health, cognitive and academic performance, and in turn, life chances.

While our main focus is equitable food access, we also create positive environmental, economic and social benefits for the region. We revitalize underused spaces into diverse, food-based spaces, educate the public on how to grow and prepare their own wholesome food, and nourish the bonds between people through community events.

We welcome individual and group volunteers. To facilitate proper communication with all volunteers, we require groups to provide us a roster of attendees with individual email addresses at least 7 days prior to the volunteer event.  Volunteer reservations will be cancel for those individuals without emails.
