Little Sprouts Garden Education Assistant

We partner with the Flance Early Learning Center and Guardian Angel Child Development Center to cultivate and maintain 2 integrated schoolyard garden  As a multifaceted project, these gardens serve as a farming and nutrition-based educational platform; sources fresh, healthy produce directly to the center’s cafeteria; and provides an interactive green space in a once underutilized lot. We are looking for volunteers to assist with the weekly curriculum at each of the gardens (9:00-11:00 am Tuesdays). Volunteers would be available at least two days each month from March to October.

**Volunteers working with children must first pass a background check, paid for by Urban Harvest STL.  As such, this is not suitable for one-off volunteering, but for a volunteer that is willing to commit to a more regular schedule.**
