Garden Fence Maintenance

The Ward Acres Community Garden recently installed a new fence. Unfortunately, it does not keep out some wildlife—rabbits and other critters have been sneaking into the garden and eating the newly planted vegetables and plants! This is detrimental to the produce that is harvested to support a local soup kitchen.

Volunteers are needed to help prep the area and to assist with installing a secondary fence. This activity requires some weeding, digging, and lifting. Volunteers will meet by the little red shed near the fenced-in area inside the park.
