Summer of Service- Cook & Serve at Opportunity House #2

Each summer, YVC hosts two episodic service opportunities a week as part of our Summer of Service, giving youth the chance to show up, help out, and make a real impact.

"Today, Opportunity House,  provides an array of services to help the most vulnerable in our community.  Our emergency shelter operates year-round and serves men, women, children, and veterans who are homeless, living on the streets, in abandon buildings, or in cars. Our doors are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help those in need.  Each year we serve approximately 500 men, women, and children who need a safe place to stay."

Join us as we prepare and serve a meal to those residing at the shelter.

This opportunity is open to youth aged 11-18
