Augmented Reality Testers - Protecting Kids Online!!

As an Augmented Reality Tester, you will assist in testing AR features for 65square, ensuring they are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with the platform’s vision. This role is ideal for tech enthusiasts who want to contribute to an innovative project and gain hands-on experience with AR technologies.

Successful testers may be offered opportunities to transition into paid roles as the project develops.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the functionality and usability of AR components within the 65square platform.
• Report bugs, inconsistencies, and suggestions for improvement to the development team.
• Work closely with Unity developers and project managers to ensure AR features meet user expectations.
• Complete training to understand testing tools and methods for AR functionalities.
• Keep detailed records of testing outcomes to support the team in refining the technology.

Requirements

• Training will be provided, though programming knowledge is an asset.
• Must own an iPhone XR or later (compatible with AR) and a Mac computer (2018 or later).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Available to volunteer 3-4 hours per week.
• Passion for exploring new technologies and contributing to their improvement.
