About this Opportunity

At Fresh Truck, we are on a mission to strengthen communities by getting fresh food to the households that need it most. We work to radically impact community health by celebrating food culture and strengthening communities with the food they need.

Our Fresh Truck e-Commerce program allows customers to place pre-orders for fresh fruits and vegetables. These orders are packed and assembled by our team before pick-up. By streamlining the shopping experience, we’re expanding access to affordable, nutritious food, especially for those with limited time or mobility.

As a volunteer, you will directly support the Fresh Truck Online Pre-Order Packing Sift by:

  • Assembling cardboard produce boxes
  • Packing fruits and vegetables into customer orders using an assembly line system
  • Lifting produce cases and restocking the packing area as needed
  • Breaking down and recycling empty boxes

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This is a hands-on volunteer shift. Volunteers must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and lift boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
