Event Volunteer
Location: Indianapolis, IN (In-Office/Hybrid Remote and On-Site at Event)

Position Overview
Tangram is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Event Volunteer to assist with planning and execution of our upcoming fundraising event, Tangram's 2nd Annual Charity Golf Outing on October 16. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys event coordination, is detail-oriented, and wants to support a mission-driven nonprofit making a difference in the lives of Hoosiers with disabilities.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Assist with silent auction planning, including securing items, organizing packages, and preparing promotional materials.

• Help with event logistics and prep, including signage, name tags, registration materials, and supply checklists.

• Provide on-site event support on October 16 at Hillview Country Club in Franklin, IN, including registration, guest support, and coordination with vendors and staff.

• Support day-of logistics for other events and community engagement opportunities as needed.

• Collaborate with Tangram’s Mission Advancement team to ensure smooth planning and execution of events.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Comfortable interacting with donors, vendors, and guests in a professional and friendly manner

• Willingness to take initiative and jump in where needed

• Availability to be on-site at our Golf Outing on October 16 10AM-7PM

• Prior event or volunteer experience is a plus but not required

• Interest in supporting community-focused nonprofit events

Schedule
This is a volunteer position running from now through mid October 2025, with flexible hours leading up to the event and required availability on October 16. Most tasks can be scheduled based on your availability, with occasional in-office work and event prep.
