About this Opportunity
Our Family Volunteering program is designed for young people under 18 to volunteer alongside a parent or legal guardian, creating a meaningful and shared experience of giving back to the community.
Volunteers will work together in our kitchen, supporting activities such as food preparation, sorting ingredients, packaging meals, and light cleaning. Each task plays an important role in helping us provide meals and support to those in need.
This program offers a safe and supportive environment where young volunteers can build confidence, learn new skills, and develop a strong sense of community, guided by a responsible adult.
Sessions run during designated times and must be booked in advance through the portal.
Please note:
- All participants under 18 must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian at all times
- The accompanying adult must hold a valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- A parent/guardian consent form is required for all participants under 18
- Activities may be adjusted based on age to ensure safety and suitability
- Volunteers must follow all safety and food handling guidelines
- Required attire includes closed shoes, long pants, covered shoulders, and a cap
Volunteering together is a great way to connect, contribute, and make a real difference as a family.
