WDO Volunteering (Work Development Order)

Our WDO (Work Development Order) Volunteering program provides individuals with the opportunity to complete approved hours in a supportive, respectful, and structured environment while giving back to the community.

Volunteers will assist with a range of kitchen activities including food preparation, sorting ingredients, packaging meals, and light cleaning. Each task contributes to supporting individuals and families in need.

We aim to create a positive and welcoming space where participants can complete their hours while building routine, confidence, and practical skills.

Sessions must be booked in advance through the portal, and attendance will be recorded and verified in line with WDO requirements.

Please note:

• Open to individuals approved under a Work Development Order (WDO) program
• Volunteers must attend their booked sessions and notify us in advance if unable to attend
• A valid NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) may be required depending on activities
• Volunteers must follow all safety and food handling guidelines
• Required attire includes closed shoes, long pants, covered shoulders, and a cap
