About this Opportunity

About Us: Supporting Empty Arms is a compassionate nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families who are navigating the emotional challenges of growing a family. Our mission is to provide mental health support to those experiencing perinatal loss, failed IVF, disrupted adoptions, and high-risk pregnancies. Through counseling, peer support, and community programs, we create a safe space where grieving hearts are heard and held.

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Fundraiser Program Coordinator to help develop, organize, and execute virtual and in-person fundraising initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who believes in our mission and has a knack for rallying community support and donor engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement small to mid-scale fundraising campaigns (e.g. peer-to-peer, social media drives, donor events)

  • Assist in developing fundraising calendars and strategy

  • Help identify potential donors, sponsors, and fundraising partners

  • Coordinate and support virtual and/or local community fundraising events

  • Track donations and prepare fundraising reports

  • Collaborate with marketing and social media volunteers to promote campaigns

Qualifications:

  • Passion for supporting individuals through family-building challenges and loss

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or event coordination (preferred but not required)

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a remote team

  • Familiarity with platforms like Donorbox, Eventbrite, or social media fundraising tools is a plus

Time Commitment:
5–10 hours per week, with flexibility. This is a remote role and can accommodate various time zones.

Benefits:

  • Make a meaningful impact in the lives of grieving families

  • Gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising and program coordination

  • Receive mentorship and potential letters of recommendation

  • Join a compassionate and mission-driven team
