This July, Sippin’ For Sunnyhill moves outdoors for a night of fun, flavor, and community spirit — Sunnyhill style. Join us for a one-of-a-kind celebration featuring:

• Matchbox car racing

• A silent auction of original Sunnyhill Artist works

• A live ARTwear pop-up shop

• Swag bags, raffles, and more

All proceeds support the creation of a new BBQ patio at the Sunnyhill Independence Campus in DeSoto — a space where individuals with developmental disabilities can connect, cook, and celebrate together.

Volunteer Roles

Guest Check-In Team | 6:30–8:00 PM

• Greet attendees and manage the check-in list

• Distribute wristbands and event programs 

Silent Auction Assistants | 6:45–9:30 PM

• Help guests place bids and monitor auction items

• Keep the display area organized and welcoming

ARTwear Pop-Up Shop Support | 6:45–9:30 PM

• Assist with setting up, pressing, and selling wearable art

• Provide product info and handle transactions

Matchbox Race Track Crew | 7:00–9:00 PM

• Facilitate the Matchbox car lot 

• Cheer on racers and encourage fun

Matchbox Car Sales Attendant | 6:45–9:30 PM

• Help guests purchase custom-decorated Hot Wheels

• Organize and restock inventory as needed

50/50 Raffle Sales Attendant | 7:00–9:00 PM

• Walk the venue selling raffle tickets

• ​Promote the raffle and explain how proceeds support Sunnyhill

Photo Station Hosts | 7:00–9:30 PM

• Invite guests to snap pics with “Patty” the pink elephant

• Offer props and help with group photos

Set-Up Assistants | 4:30–6:30 PM

• Help prep the rooftop space before guests arrive

• Set up tables, signage, and materials

Breakdown Assistants | 9:45–10:45 PM

• Assist with post-event cleanup and packing

• Return supplies to storage and reset space
