About this Opportunity
Doria in Irvine, CA, is an affordable housing complex for special needs families and seniors. Every 1st and 3rd Friday of the month we host an onsite food bank for our residents.
Volunteers will be assisting with set up, food distribution, and clean up from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. This food distribution is designed as a walk-up service; for residents who are homebound, food delivery to their doorstep will be provided.
Please note that this position may involve heavy lifting. Volunteers need to be 16 years of age or older. Below is all the information you will need prior to your event. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out by responding to this email.

COVID-19 Guidelines: Jamboree’s top priority is to keep residents, volunteers, employees, and their families safe and healthy. Please be sure to bring and wear a face mask to your shift since supplies are limited. Make sure to take your temperature prior to coming to your shift. A fever is considered 100.4°F/38°C or higher. If you have a fever, are sick, or show signs of COVID-19, stay home and do not volunteer. Volunteers who are well but have been in the proximity of someone with COVID-19, or who is awaiting diagnosis may not volunteer. Volunteers must wear their masks for their entire shift.
