NAMI Coastal Virginia provides Free Support Groups (online and in-person), Classes, Educational Programs, Advocacy, and Resources for individuals and families living with mental illness.

If you share our drive to create lasting, positive change, we invite you to join our team! NAMI Coastal Virginia is expanding, and with it, the need for dedicated volunteers to help meet our community’s mental health needs.

Open Position:
Connection Support Group Facilitator - NAMI Coastal Virginia's Connection Support Groups are weekly (Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7PM-8:30PM) peer-led groups for individuals (18+) experiencing any type of mental health challenge.

To be a facilitator, you have to attend a group and be recommended for training. We are looking for dedicated leaders who have a personal experience with mental illness and are hoping to use that experience or expertise to make an impact in the lives of others.
