Program Coordinators

GiGi's Playhouse Westchester is looking for Volunteer Program Coordinators to ensure its weekly program schedule runs smoothly. Flexibility is required, and all volunteers will receive training. This role will begin in the fall, and volunteers are recruited in the spring and summer months prior to ensure enough time for the onboarding and training process.

Volunteer requirements:

• Open the Playhouse and welcome families
• Support program leaders and volunteers and assist with continuity
• Ensure that the Playhouse is cleaned after the programs and lock up

Volunteer qualifications:

• Must be 18+
• Must be available to start in the fall months
• Must be responsible, confident, conscientious, motivated, and enthusiastic
• Must attend a one-hour orientation and complete mandatory training courses
• Program observations are recommended
• Must complete a background check

Time commitment:

• 5-12 hours a week
• Hours occur primarily during the evening and weekend, though some weekday hours will be required
