Volunteer Coordinator

GiGi's Playhouse Westchester is a non-profit organization that is 99% volunteer-led. It is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to help recruit and manage its volunteers.

Volunteer requirements:

• Serve as the primary contact for volunteers
• Schedule and conduct monthly volunteer orientations
• Conduct individual volunteer orientations as necessary
• Plan an annual Volunteer Appreciation event alongside the Executive Director
• Work closely with the Board of Directors, Operations Coordinator, Executive Director, and the organization's national office

Volunteer qualifications:

• Must be 18+
• Must attend an orientation
• Must observe two programs
• Must complete a background check
• Must attend specific training for the role

Time commitment:

• 5-15 hours per week
