CHS Food Pantry Distribution

The CHS Food Pantry needs volunteers to assist during preparation and distribution each week. This involves sorting food (including overripe produce), stocking shelves, preparing the indoor market, loading and unloading groceries outside, and generally assisting families. It may include heaving lifting of up to 50lbs, but it is not required. Customer service skills are important as volunteers may be supporting families directly. Understanding different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds is helpful. 

Volunteers are needed on Wednesdays anytime between the hours of 8 am to 4:30 pm and Thursdays anytime between 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.
