Old Town Farmers Market Volunteers (Saturdays) - 2026

Do you enjoy attending local farmers markets? Do you like volunteering and helping out around your community? Are you available on Saturdays? This might be the perfect opportunity for you!

The Old Town Farmers Market and the City of Alexandria are seeking volunteers to participate in facilitating the SNAP/EBT Program during market hours. The program is a supplemental income program that allows clients to purchase allocated grocery items from the store, as well as the farmers markets! Volunteering would consist of processing transactions for the clients. I will be there to show you how everything works, so no need to worry.
