Boston Cares is excited to share that we will be hosting a special, in-person New Volunteer Orientation at Great American Beer Hall on Wednesday, September 10th, from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM, followed by a volunteer social from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM! Join us for a great time and plenty of opportunities to connect with your fellow volunteers! Sign up below! Thank you for getting started as volunteer with Boston Cares! Filling more than 20,000 volunteer spots annually in support of more than 150 Greater Boston schools and nonprofit agencies, we offer a wide array of programs and opportunities that make it simple for you to volunteer no matter how busy your schedule. Our new volunteers are required to attend one of our virtual,1-hour New Volunteer Orientations. Each orientation covers the same material, so every new volunteer can become familiar with Boston Cares' programs, policies, and nonprofit partners. After your attendance is verified, all new volunteers will have access to approximately 350 service projects each month, ranging from 1 to 6 hours! All of our New Volunteer Orientations are hosted virtually via zoom. Once you sign up for the orientation that suits your schedule, the meeting link will be sent to the email address listed on your Boston Cares account after registration closes a couple hours ahead of the orientation start time.
