About this Opportunity
The Downtown women's Center's Permanent Supportive Housing Program provides 119 units of comfortable, safe, and affordable housing without time limits as residents work towards personal stability.
Why: As a Residence Host volunteering in the lobby of our Permanent Supportive Residence, you can help create a welcoming atmosphere while providing staff with much-needed support with special projects, breaks, etc.
Who: At Downtown Women's Center, we believe housing is a human right, and our first priority is to provide women with safe, permanent housing above all else.
What to Expect: Residence hosts provide a welcoming, supportive atmosphere in the lobby of DWC’s permanent residences, welcoming and checking in with the women, signing for packages, answering the phone and door, and chatting with residents during downtime.
